Booster Robotics (加速进化) is a Beijing startup founded in June 2023 by Tsinghua roboticist and ex-ByteDance product exec Cheng Hao, whose founding team came out of Tsinghua's "Fire God" RoboCup soccer squad. Its flagship, the Booster T1, is a compact (~1.18 m, ~30 kg) developer humanoid — not a life-size robot — and the champion machine of the RoboCup 2025 AdultSize soccer league, adopted by 50-plus teams worldwide. Built for impact resistance and self-righting, with a 200-TOPS Nvidia Jetson Orin brain and full ROS2 support, the T1 sells for $33,949 internationally (¥199,000 in China). A cheaper, smaller sibling, the K1, sits below it. Backed by heavy Beijing funding, Booster has raised close to a billion RMB and shipped 700-plus robots across 20-plus countries.
